Go to the past | Go to the future

It's been 7 hours and 15 days...

And one hour and sixteen minutes, because I got to drinking with a bloke from Perugia named Giulio. The title comes from the same weepy as the flight over, but today I found that The Witte was good enough to leave a rockin' version by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes on my poota last year. Nice. Also, I gave my poota bit bit of an accidental bash and ecco! the on-board speakers work again. Drivers my muscular backside.

I am in Padova, and I am at home. Indeed, this decision I never had to make never had to be made. Padova, nothing compares to you. This is where my medium term future is, even if crazy Italians leave bottles in the street and other crazy Italians threaten to call the police when you accidentally kick them and smash them at night. Molto antipatico, as I told that particular gentleman. Also, I am in the place universally know as Il Merde Ostello, the only hostel in towne, which has ridicolo lock-out hours, but there is little one can do. I see why Padova shuts down for agosto and early settembre: it is humid as Hell here.

I have met with Steven and he is looking to fund me in La Sud Africa for the months between Melbourne and the opening of jobs in Padova. Employment!

There will probably be few posts for a while. Times without adventure make for poor copy.

Happy to here that you are well and getting settled again.

That will be awesome if you can funded - when do the jobs open in Padova again?

Watch out for those crazy Italians and take care!

Allison :)

Re: Hello!
Hi Allison!

The Padova jobs open in September next year. I could bring it back a little, but I want out of Melbourne early, not mid, next year.

It seems to me there are a lot of middle aged men in Italy who need to grow up. I'll probably get back to this later in a post. But yes, I shall avoid them.
