Mexico too is experiencing the phenomenon of the 'internet video meme', and just as with their Anglo cousins, the Mexican meme on first look is rather weak and unfunny, and gains its initial impetus by mocking someone with a difference not great enough to be a dreaded "-ism".

I give you...

This gains its extremely mild dose of amusement for Mexicans as the kid speaks in a norteño accent (to my ear more a sing-song Spanish than an accent), and swears like un hijo de puta. A quick search of English YouTube shows that to Americans, this is funny because a fat Mexican kid is bullied.

The next step is the modification of the video, usually with reference to something else of cult status, such as this, this, and this.

Then, a biscuit company hires everyone involved to make a commercial.
